SeaWorld Orlando's Aquatica is a one-of-a-kind water park along International Drive in Orlando and across the street from SeaWorld Orlando and its sister theme park, Discovery Cove. SeaWorld's Aquatica had a "soft opening" on March 1, 2008, and a grand opening on April 1, 2008. The 59-acre Aquatica water park combines the best of both SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove with up-close animal encounters, thrilling water rides and 80,000 square feet of white-sand beaches.
Billed as "SeaWorld's Whimsical, One-of-a-Kind Waterpark," Sea World's Aquatica features such attractions as side-by-side wave pools, lazy river rides, eight-lane racing slides, interactive water play areas and 36 waterslides, including a 300-foot-long enclosed waterslide that plunges riders down a 42-foot drop and through a lagoon populated by black-and-white Commerson's dolphins. Amenities at SeaWorld Orlando's Aquatica also include private cabanas, beachside waiter service, restaurants and specialty shops.
Multi-park tickets for 2008 include a $79.95 Aquatica-SeaWorld package and single-day Aquatica tickets will be $38.95 for adults and $32.95 for ages 3-9.
