Thrill rides are the name of the game at Marvel Super Hero Island, the first island you encounter as you head left of the Port of Entry at Universal’s Islands of Adventure®. Here you will encounter all of your favorite Marvel super heroes and villains such as Spider-Man, Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Doctor Octopus and much more!

Highlights of Marvel Super Hero Island include The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, a one-of-a-kind simulated ride; Doctor Doom’s Fearfall, a “free-fall” thrill ride that rockets you 150 feet over the theme park; Incredible Hulk Coaster, which reaches top speeds of 67 miles per hour; and Storm Force Accelatron, an indoor tea-cup ride with some incredible special effects.

Dining options at Marvel Super Hero Island include Café 4 (sandwiches, pizza, pasta and salads) and Captain America’s Diner, which serves sandwiches, burgers, fries and ice-cold refreshments. You can also opt for a quick bite to eat at Chill Ice Cream, Fruit and Cotton Candy. For souvenirs, check out Comic Shop, Marvel Alterniverse Store, Oakley (sunglasses) and Spider-Man Shop.
