Plunge 85 feet into darkness as you escape a hungry T-Rex during the Jurassic Park River Adventure, an amazing raft ride that lies in Jurassic Park between Camp Jurassic and the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. The ride starts off tame enough as you journey through a variety of animatronic dinosaur habitats full of brachiosaurs, stegosaurs and hadrosaurs. However, as usual, things go awry quickly and your expedition has to attempt a dramatic escape from the Raptor Containment Area, which is full of various roaming raptors and the vicious T-Rex itself.

The Jurassic Park River Adventure, which takes approximately 5 minutes, opened at Universal’s Islands of Adventure® in 1999. Prepare to get soaked during the 85-foot drop at the end of the ride. Rental lockers are available at the entrance to the Jurassic Park River Adventure.

Height Requirement: You must be at least 42 inches tall to take the Jurassic Park River Adventure.
