Going on a Velocicoaster is an experience like no other. You feel the wind in your hair, the thrill of the chase, and the excitement in your heart. You should know some things before going on Universal’s newest ride. Here are three things I wish I knew before going on!
Know the best row to experience Velocicoaster
I had no idea where to sit to get the very best Velocicoaster experience. I went with my instinct and sat in the front row, which was utterly epic. However, a lot of my peers also suggested the back row in which I also experienced, Here is my take on the experiences and which one may be best for you: if you enjoy more airtime and to be whipped around more, then the back row is calling your name. If you want the blast of wind in your face and the feeling of going the fastest, then the front row is for you. I personally like both! Whatever you decide, I would avoid the middle rows because they can’t compete with the front and back rows!
Velocicoaster is a thrill ride so bring a lanyard
Something I really wish I knew before my first ride is how thrilling this ride is – the upside-down inversions, airtime, drop, and corkscrew will definitely take things out of your pockets. Learn from my mistakes and avoid losing your ticket (the key to your locker) by bringing a lanyard with you on the ride. This is a simple, safe and secure way to hold your ticket while enjoying Velocicoaster. Additionally, you can bring it through the metal detectors. Before the coaster departs, the loading station team members will instruct you to place the lanyard around your neck and tuck it inside your shirt.
The Velocicoaster ride experience changes with the time of day
Unlike other rides at theme parks that are the same day and night – Velocicoaster, on the other hand, is an entirely different vibe day and night. Obviously, in the daylight, you can see everything, and at night, you can’t see the track in front of you. Personally, after going on it ten different times – nighttime, in my opinion, is the most thrilling of all the experiences, and it feels like it goes faster. In addition, the theme lights are vivid and change at night – which ties into the advanced futuristic aspect of the movie Jurassic World.
