Disney wants a whole new look to get ready for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World in 2021. In fact, in the last year or so Disney has been changing up the look on the signage through the middle of Tomorrowland in hopes of giving it a newer, fresher look.

Tomorrowland will not really be affected by the removal of the entrance sign.
