The Walt Disney World Resort will celebrate its 50th anniversary in October, and Walt Disney Imagineers are pulling out all the stops for this monumental occasion. Special activities, new attractions, and even a new parade explicitly created to honor Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Exciting news like this makes it hard to wait! Here is one of the big surprises in store at the 50th.

During the world’s most magical celebration, 50 golden characters will be present in all 4 theme parks. The first Disney Fab 50 sculpture is Mickey Mouse. Take home a shiny memento during The World’s Most Magical Celebration! Throughout the celebration, you can purchase Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary-themed pressed coins and medallions, available in 50 unique designs—each featuring one of the Disney Fab 50 characters.
