The ‘Characters in Flight‘ balloon at Disney Springs has a brand new name – ‘Aerophile.’
Guests who ride are treated to a breathtaking, 360-degree view of the Walt Disney World Resort during an 8-to-10 minute tethered helium balloon ride, located right in Disney Springs.
“Custom-built for Disney by Paris-based company Aérophile S.A., the Aéro30 is filled with 210,000 cubic feet of helium. The balloon’s 19-foot-diameter basket holds up to 29 people plus one Aérophile-certified pilot per flight.”
