According to the Disney Parks Blog, the My Disney Experience App has added a new feature that will allow guests to check-in to their resort hotel online.
This online check-in system should be much faster than checking-in at the front desk. Guests will now be able “to start the check-in process up to 60 days before their arrival.” To finalize their check-in, all guests have to do is unlock their room using their MagicBands, which were sent to them prior to their arrival.

The app will allow guests the convenience of making room requests, adding credit card information, authorizing charges, submitting an estimated arrival time, and will even send guests a message to alert them when their room is ready.
