The Universal Orlando passholders were invited via email with a link that explained the restrictions and details of the bead throwing experience.

Those who want to participate have to be at least 18 years old and at least 48 inches tall. Universal will randomly select those who sign up to participate three days in advance.

For 50 consecutive nights,the 2017 edition of the event will feature the most parades in its history, with its floats rolling down the streets of the park beginning on Saturday. Previous Mardi Gras celebrations  at Universal had parades only on concert nights.
