The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida’s mission is “dedicated to combating anti-Semitism, racism and prejudice with the ultimate goal of developing a moral and just community through its extensive outreach of educational and cultural programs.” The permanent exhibit of the Holocaust Memorial Center Museum presents an overview history of the Holocaust and serves as a memorial to the victims through photographs, text, artifacts, artworks and short film presentations. The Holocaust Memorial Center Library contains a collection of more than 5,000 volumes and 500 videotapes. In addition, the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida hosts commemorative programs and films.
