Elmo and the whole Sesame Street gang opened TODAY March 27 2019 at SeaWorld Orlando!
Sesame Street at SeaWorld, a new, family-friendly attraction is replacing Shamu’s Happy Harbor. In addition to lots of chances to play with Elmo, kids can hang with Big Bird, Grover, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster, too.

The new park is made up to look just like some of the most-loved parts of the Sesame Street set, including the famous stoop, Mr. Hooper’s store and Big Bird’s nest. Kids can enjoy a new water play area and six new, themed rides, including Elmo’s Choo Choo Train, Super Grover’s Box Car Derby, Abby’s Flower Tower, and Big Bird’s Twirl ‘n’ Whirl.
Sesame Street-themed parade is the biggest NEW addition!
But perhaps the biggest new addition is a Sesame Street-themed parade, SeaWorld’s first parade ever.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, dancers have been preparing six days a week since February to bring the parade to life on opening day. The parade will employ 16 dancers and 13 full-sized characters across eight different floats to create a huge, wholly interactive experience that will last 16 minutes.
