Known as “Florida’s Original Theme Park,” 350-acre Silver Springs State Park features world-famous glass bottom boat rides, live animal shows and habitats and beautiful botanical gardens. Silver Springs lies adjacent to Wild Waters Water Park.

RICH’S TRIVIA:
Silver Springs is known as “Florida’s Original Theme Park.” The glass bottom boat was invented here in 1878. Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) was filmed at both Silver Springs and Wakulla Springs. The TV show, Sea Hunt, which starred Lloyd Bridges, was filmed at Silver Springs between 1958 and 1961.
