Volusia County’s primary art, history and science museum, MOAS contains a variety of fascinating and diverse exhibitions. The permanent exhibit features collections of art from Africa, China and Cuba, as well as Coca-Cola® memorabilia; 18th-20th century paintings, sculpture and furniture; teddy bears, railroad and race cars; and much more.
The museum’s Center for Florida History relates Florida’s fascinating historical and cultural development through exhibitions and artifacts. A planetarium and sculpture garden are also located on the museum’s 90-acre grounds. The Museum of Art and Sciences also hosts a holiday Festival of Lights and a daily Holiday Laser Light Series.
