View native wildlife in natural habitats at the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, which is home to black bears, bobcats, manatees, river otters, alligators, cougars, white-tailed deer, birds, tortoises and snakes. Boat tours, nature trails and picnic areas are available. In addition, the Homosassa Springs Visitor Center features nature exhibits, the Wildside Café and two gift shops.

RICH’S TRIVIA: Homosassa Springs is home to a hippo named Lucifer (“Lu” for short) who arrived at the Springs in 1964.
