Take a space adventure high above Tomorrowland aboard your own Astro Orbiter rocket! This classic Disney ride is similar in design (spins in a circle while allowing riders to control its up and down movement) to Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Fantasyland and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland. However, its added elevation enables riders to enjoy even more spectacular views of the theme park. The ride itself lasts approximately 1½ minutes long.

Astro Orbiter is located directly in the center of Tomorrowland on the top level of Rockettower Plaza above the entrance to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and across from both Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. To reach Astro Orbiter, just look for the elevator to the right of the escalators that lead to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Dining opportunities near the Astro Orbiter include the Lunching Pad, which is located just Northwest of the attraction.
