The Mad Tea Party ride lies at the intersection of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Based on the infamous tea party scene in Disney’s animated classic, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Tea Party allows you to hop aboard a giant teacup and spin wildly around the colorful arena.

One of the original attractions when Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park first opened on October 1, 1971, the Mad Tea Party draws significant lines and lasts for approximately 1.5 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Dormouse, which occasionally pops up from the center teapot as you spin around. Characters from Alice in Wonderland such as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum can often be seen near the ride. Dining opportunities near the Mad Tea Party include the Enchanted Grove and Mrs. Potts’ Cupboard.

Note: If you are easily susceptible to motion sickness, you will definitely want to avoid the Mad Tea Party.
