Directly behind Cinderella Castle, the centerpiece of Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, lies Fantasyland, one of the six enchanted lands at the theme park. Popular attractions, meet and greet areas, play areas, restaurants and specialty shops can all be found here. As part of the largest expansion in the history of Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, New Fantasyland is opening in phases, offering “more immersive entertainment” and interactive experiences for all ages.

Upon completion, New Fantasyland will nearly double in size with new attractions in the Enchanted Forest such as Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Storybook Circus attractions include The Barnstormer, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station. New Fantasyland also features such classic attractions as It’s a Small World, Mad Tea Party, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, MIckey’s PhilharMagic, Peter Pan’s Flight and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. In addition, New Fantasyland is home to a train station for the Walt Disney World Railroad.

Dining opportunities within Fantasyland include Cinderella’s Royal Table (reservations are necessary), Enchanted Grove, Mrs. Pott’s Cupboard, Pinocchio Village Haus and Scuttle’s Landing. For Fantasyland souvenirs, check out Fantasy Faire, Pooh’s Thotful Shop, Sir Mickey’s and Tinker Bell’s Treasures.
