The ATAS (Academy of Television Arts & Sciences) Hall of Fame Plaza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which opened in the fall of 1993, honors famous stars from the golden age of TV all the way up to the present day. This unique outdoor gallery, which is located in front of the Chinese Theater (which houses the Great Movie Ride) near Echo Lake, displays the bronze likenesses of such television greats as Angela Lansbury, Bob Newhart, Perry Como, Charles Kuralt and Ed Asner. Disney has just announced that they will be live-streaming the dedication ceremony for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on May 29th at 8:20pm PDT/11:20 EDT. The ceremony is presented by AT&T and a link will be available on the Disney Parks Blog shortly before the ceremony begins.Continue reading
