At the Norway Pavilion, you can step back in time to the Age of the Vikings! Climb aboard a realistic sailing ship, experience the Maelstrom thrill ride, view interesting Norse artifacts and enjoy a sumptuous feast inside a castle at the Restaurant Akershus.
While in Norway, don’t miss an opportunity to stroll through the marvelous shops such as The Puffin’s Roost that feature a wide variety of Norwegian merchandise, along with and eateries such as Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (which offers character breakfasts that feature Disney princesses) or Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, which serves freshly baked goods and coffee. Enjoy a fabulous Norwegian folk musical performance by the Spelmanns Gledge. Check out the exhibit, “Vikings: Conquerors of the Seas,” within the Stave Church, a replica of the original in Oslo, Norway.
The Norway Pavilion, which opened at Epcot in 1988, lies between the China Pavilion and Mexico Pavilion on the Western edge of the World Showcase Lagoon.
