Journey Into Imagination was one of the original attractions when Epcot first opened in 1982 and has undergone many changes over the years. The current version takes you on a wild ride through various labs within the Imagination Institute with the bumbling Dr. Nigel Channing (Eric Idle) as your guide. Your tour of the “five senses” labs is constantly being interrupted by the mischievous purple dragon named Figment. The ride ends at Figment’s funky, upside-down house.
Update: As of March 27, Disney announced that Walt Disney World and Disneyland will be closed indefinitely amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
