A once-in-a-lifetime experience, Discovery Cove allows you to swim with bottlenose dolphins and other exotic marine animals such as sharks, barracuda and stingrays. Snorkel through a colorful reef with exotic fish, feed hundreds of tropical birds, float down a river through waterfalls and lush landscaping, relax on white-sand beaches and swim in refreshing pools. The premises include Dolphin Lagoon, Wind-Away River, Explorer’s Aviary (home to more than 250 exotic birds), Serenity Bay Beaches and Pools, Freshwater Oasis (face-to-face encounters with otters and marmosets), Grand Reef and Conservation Cabana.
Attendance at Discovery Cove is limited to 1,000 guests a day, so it is never crowded. As part of the admission price, every guest has access to beach umbrellas, lounges, towels, lockers and snorkel gear. Admission also includes a continental breakfast at Laguna Grill, as well as lunch, snacks and beverages, including bottled water, juices, sodas, wine and beer. Private cabanas overlooking Dolphin Lagoon can be rented for an extra fee. Don’t miss the opportunity to take home souvenirs from Beach Kiosk or Tropical Gifts. Discovery Cove guests must be at least 6 years old to participate in the dolphin-swim experience. Reservations are required for Discovery Cove.
A Trainer for a Day package is also available. During select summer evenings, Discovery Cove offers Twilight Discovery with shallow-water dolphin interactions, snorkeling, swimming dining, live music and more. Discovery Cove is a sister theme park of SeaWorld Orlando and SeaWorld Aquatica.
