Surf Lessons - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

Surfing instruction can be arranged at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon on Tuesday mornings before the Disney water park opens (6:30 AM – 9 AM). The surf lessons are administered by professional surfing instructors from Ron Jon Surf School and take place at the 2.75-million-gallon Surf Pool, which lies in the heart of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and generates waves from three to six feet high. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon offers two types of surf lessons: “Learn to Surf” (for beginners) and “Private 100 Wave Surf Event” (for experienced surfers).

Note: A fee is charged for the surf lessons separate from the admission to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Participants must be at least 8 years old. All equipment is provided. Reservations are required for Surf Lessons at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.
