Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Attractions
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon features something for everyone – including a huge wave pool, lazy river, speed slides, tube runs, body slides, a white sandy beach, colorful reef, children’s water play areas and more.
Highlights of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon include Castaway Creek, a 2,100-foot lazy river ride that encircles the water park; the new Crush ‘n’ Gusher, three uphill water coasters; Gang Plank Falls, an inner tube adventure down a wild river; Humunga Kowabunga, three enclosed speed rides; Shark Reef, a saltwater tank filled with live sharks and exotic fish; Storm Slides, a series of three body slides that wind down Mount Mayday at speeds up to 30 miles per hour; and Surf Pool, one of the largest wave pools in the world.
Other not-to-be-missed attractions at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon include Keelhaul Falls and Mayday Falls, two exciting tube runs; Ketchakiddee Creek, a children’s water play area; and Sandy White Beach, a tropical paradise that encircles the Surf Pool. In addition, surf lessons can be arranged at the Surf Pool on Tuesday mornings before the water park opens (for a separate fee).
