Frontierland is fittingly located in the Westernmost area of Disney’s Magic Kingdom, North of Adventureland and across the “Rivers of America” from Liberty Square. One of seven enchanted lands in the park, Frontierland was designed for guests to experience “the colorful drama of frontier America,” according to Walt Disney.
Highlights include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a thrilling roller coaster ride in the form of a runaway train; Country Bear Jamboree, which features an “old-fashioned hoe-down” starring the legendary audio-animatronic Country Bears; Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, an old-fashioned shooting gallery; Splash Mountain, a flume ride adventure that features characters from Disney’s classic movie Song of the South; and Tom Sawyer Island, an immense playground full of trails, caves, bridges and forts. The Walt Disney World Railroad also provides a train station located between Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. The train ride takes guests to either Mickey’s Toontown Fair or the main train station at the entrance to Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Dining opportunities near the attractions include Pecos Bill Café, which serves hamburgers, wraps, hot dogs, fries, salads and cold drinks; Frontierland Fries, which features McDonald’s fries and cold beverages; and Aunt Polly’s Dockside Inn, a seasonal eatery on Tom Sawyer Island that offers sandwiches, snacks, ice cream and refreshments. In addition, plenty of Frontierland souvenirs can be found at the Briar Patch, which is located near the exit to Splash Mountain, Frontier Trading Post and Prairie Outpost & Supply.
Note: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain are both extremely popular attractions in Frontierland and typically draw long lines. FASTPASS is available (and highly recommended!) for both attractions.

Mickey Mouse Revue, Disney World, 1971
One of the original attractions at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, the Mickey Mouse Revue opened in Fantasyland in 1971 and featured an audio-animatronic orchestra of popular Disney characters (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto, Scrooge McDuck and more!) singing such classics as "When ...
A new way for Central Florida to go green I have the desire to be more "green." I've yet to put that desire into motion with practice, but I'll get there. (Hopefully you found some inspiration with Erin.) One thing I have done recently is use my bank's "green" programs, which includes ordering a "green" debit ...
