Rock 'n Roller Coaster - Starring Aerosmith - Disney's Hollywood Studios
Blast off on an incredible adventure in a super-stretch, 24-passenger limo that transports you through a myriad of twists and turns on your way to a backstage party – all accompanied by classic tunes courtesy of the legendary rock group, Aerosmith, during the Rock ‘n Roller Coaster.
Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, which launches you at a speed of 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds, speeds through total darkness (just like Disney World’s original roller coaster, Space Mountain). Hit songs from Aerosmith such as “Sweet Emotion,” “Nine Lives,” “Dude Looks Like a Lady” and “Walk This Way” can be heard during the two-minute ride.
The indoor thrill ride, which opened in 1999, lies along Sunset Boulevard at the extreme Northeastern section of Disney's Hollywood Studios – adjacent to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. As you exit, check out the ride’s own gift shop, Rock Around the Shop, which features a variety of souvenirs related to the roller coaster and Aerosmith.
Along with The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n Roller Coaster – Starring Aerosmith is one of the most popular thrill rides at Walt Disney World Resort. FASTPASS is available – and strongly suggested – for this attraction. You may also purchase a photo taken of you and your friends or family during the roller coaster ride.
Height Restriction: You must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the Rock ‘n Roller Coaster – Starring Aerosmith. Check out the list of health restrictions posted at the entrance to the ride.
