Spaceship Earth - Future World - Epcot
A magnificent, 180-foot-tall geosphere that weighs an incredible 16 million pounds, Spaceship Earth lies near the main entrance to Epcot and serves as the principal gateway to the theme park. One of Epcot’s original attractions, the Spaceship Earth ride itself takes you on an entertaining journey through the history of communication as narrated by actor Dame Judi Dench.
Highlights of Spaceship Earth include audio-animatronic scenes of cave paintings, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Greek dramas, Roman Empire, ancient monasteries, Italian Renaissance artists and much more. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes. In front of Spaceship Earth lies the Leave a Legacy sculptures.
