Fun for all ages, Disney’s Blizzard Beach features a variety of thrilling waterslides, raft and inner tube rides, a lazy river and several water play areas. The adventurous will want to experience Summit Plummet, which is billed as the “tallest and fastest” waterslide in the United States; Downhill Double Dipper, parallel 230-foot-long inner tube runs that reach speeds up to 25 miles per hour; or Slush Gusher, a double-humped waterslide that speeds 250 feet down Mount Gushmore. Kids will love the Tike’s Peak and Ski Patrol Training Camp water play areas.
Other highlights of Blizzard Beach include the Chairlift, which provides a scenic, one-way ride to the top of Mount Gushmore; Cross Country Creek, a lazy river ride; Melt Away Bay, a 1-acre wave pool; Runoff Rapids, a thrilling inner tube ride; Snow Stormers, three slalom-style racing slides; Teamboat Springs, one of the longest raft rides in the world; and Toboggan Racers, an eight-lane, 250-foot-long waterslide.
