Billed as the “Coolest Water Park in Central Florida,” Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park features a multitude of thrilling rides and water-based attractions (including 22 water slides) for the entire family – all centered around 220-foot-tall Mount Gushmore! According to Disney legend, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park was initially intended as Florida’s first ski resort after a freak Florida snowstorm hit the theme park. However, hot temperatures returned and melted the snow and ski trails transformed into thrilling water slides!
