Named after the wise old baboon in Disney’s animated classic, The Lion King, Rafiki’s Planet Watch is one of the seven enchanted areas that make up Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Rafiki's Planet Watch is located in the extreme Northeast section of the theme park.
Highlights of Rafiki’s Planet Watch include the Wildlife Express Train, which takes you to the area from a train station that lies in Africa; Conservation Station, an incredible series of interactive exhibits and shows designed to promote awareness of wildlife conservation; Affection Section, an animal encounter area that lies adjacent to Conservation Station; and Habitat Habit!, an outdoor discovery trail that features endangered cotton-top tamarin primates.
Note: All areas within Rafiki’s Planet Watch are wheelchair accessible. There are no dining opportunities at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
