The Oasis - Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - Walt Disney World Resort
Just as Main Street, U.S.A. serves as the main gateway to Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, the Oasis is the main gateway to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However, instead of specialty shops and restaurants, the Oasis boasts a lush, tropical paradise with exotic animal habitats, beautiful waterfalls and streams, flowers and caves.
Animals that call the Oasis home include tree kangaroos, iguanas, colorful macaws, giant anteaters, miniature deer, boars, wallabies, two-toed sloths, swans and more. The nature paths that wind through the Oasis are usually sparsely populated, so the area serves as a great reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the most popular areas of the theme park.
