Africa - Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - Walt Disney World Resort
As you cross the bridge to the left side of the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you will enter the enchanting Harambe Village, the gateway to Africa, which contains several restaurants, specialty shops and a lively marketplace.
In Africa, you can take a fascinating journey through the 100-acre Harambe Reserve aboard a 32-passenger safari jeep at Kilimanjaro Safaris. View wandering African elephants, giraffes, rhinos, lions, hippos, crocodiles, baboons and more during your safari adventure. Africa is also home to the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, which winds through a beautiful rain forest with views of gorillas, hippos, antelopes and meerkats along the way. Africa also boasts the Harambe Station, where the Wildlife Express Train will take you on a 1.2-mile ride to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, which includes Conservation Station, Affection Section petting yard and Habitat Habit.
