Discovery Cove
6000 Discovery Cove Way, Orlando, Florida
1-877-4DISCOVERY
Spend a day in a tropical paradise! A once-in-a-lifetime experience, Discovery Cove allows you to swim with bottlenose dolphins and other exotic marine animals such as sharks, barracuda and stingrays. Snorkel through a colorful reef with exotic fish, feed hundreds of tropical birds, float down a river through waterfalls and lush landscaping, relax on white-sand beaches and swim in refreshing pools. Discovery Cove brings together the most exhilarating experiences, the most amazing animals and the most beautiful tropical environments from around the world to create a lush oasis in Orlando!
Attendance at Discovery Cove is limited to 1,000 guests a day, so it is never crowded. Discovery Cove admission, which includes the dolphin swim, runs from $259 to $279 (fluctuates seasonally). Without the dolphin swim, Discovery Cove prices run between $159 and $179. Ages 0-2 are admitted to Discovery Cove free of charge. Discount Discovery Cove tickets are also available, so be sure to seek out the best online deals before visiting. As part of the admission price, every guest has access to beach umbrellas, lounges, towels, lockers and snorkel gear. Discovery Cove guests must be at least 6 years old to participate in the dolphin-swim experience. Reservations are required for Discovery Cove.
During select summer evenings, Discovery Cove offers Twilight Discovery with shallow-water dolphin interactions, snorkeling, swimming dining, live music and more. Discovery Cove is a sister theme park of SeaWorld Orlando - both attractions are operated by Busch Entertainment Corporation. The two theme parks will soon be joined by a third, SeaWorld Aquatica, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2008.

DISCOVERY COVE REVIEW: Discovery Cove is definitely a one-of-a-kind adventure but it's also a pricey one. However, if you have an extra day in Orlando and haven't already surpassed your Orlando travel budget on Disney souvenirs, Discovery Cove will be one Central Florida attraction you won't soon forget!
