Downtown Disney West Side
Walt Disney World Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 407-WDW-SEAT (407-939-7328) The innovative circus troupe Cirque du Soleil has scored an ongoing hit with “La Nouba,” a groundbreaking spectacle that combines theatrical effects, daring aerobatics, dance, circus acts, comedy and live music. Cirque du Soleil La Nouba was written and directed by Belgian theater director Franco Dragone. Fun for the entire family, La Nouba performances are held Tuesday through Saturday at 6 PM and 9 PM at Downtown Disney West Side. Even if you can't make the show, be sure to check out the Cirque du Soleil La Nouba gift shop, which lies in front of the theater. LA NOUBA REVIEW: Cirque du Soleil La Nouba is somewhat pricey but well worth the effort since it's a one-of-a-kind extravaganza suitable for all ages. Though I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, try to get front and center so you can catch all the action. Call ahead and reserve your seats early. By the way, La Nouba is derived from the French phrase, "faire la nouba," which means to "live it up!"
