Sea World Attractions
After a fun-filled day of exploring Sea World Orlando’s unforgettable attractions, join the colorful festivities at The Waterfront at Sea World, a delightful assortment of specialty shops, eclectic restaurants and entertainment inspired by the vibrant sights and sounds of the world's great seaports. The Waterfront at Sea World is also home to the Makahiki Luau, a lively celebration of the music, dance and delicious cuisine of the Pacific islands. The Makahiki Luau takes place at 6:30 PM nightly at Sea World Orlando’s Seafire Inn. Reservations are required.
Sea World Orlando Interactive Programs
In addition to its incredible attractions and shows, Sea World Orlando also offers several interactive programs (separate fee required) such as Trainer for a Day, False Killer Whale Interaction Program, Animal Care Experience, Sharks Deep Dive, To the Rescue!, Polar Expedition and Predators.
Sea World Orlando Annual Events
Seasonal events at Sea World Orlando include Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures in late February and early November, Shamu’s Halloween Spooktacular on specific weekend nights in October and Sea World Orlando's Viva La Musica in late September. During summer nights, Sea World Orlando presents “Mistify,” a celebration that features fireworks, music and images projected on a wall of mist.
Believe at Sea World Orlando
The newest attraction at Sea World Orlando, Believe, showcases Sea World’s majestic killer whales with “awe-inspiring choreography,” along with “an elaborate 3-story set, original musical score and panoramic LED screens.” The effect creates an unbelievable “killer whale ballet.” The “Believe” show takes place at the state-of-the-art Shamu Stadium.
The World's Premiere Marine Adventure Park
Operated by the Busch Entertainment Corporation, which also runs Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Sea World Orlando first opened its doors in 1973 and has evolved into the world’s premiere marine adventure park. Open daily at 9 AM (seasonal hours; call ahead before visiting), Sea World Orlando is conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate 4 and the Beeline Expressway (State Road 528).
Discovery Cove
Sea World Orlando’s sister theme park, Sea World Orlando's Discovery Cove, lies across the street from the Sea World entrance on the Central Florida Parkway. Sea World Orlando's Discovery Cove provides you the once-in-a-lifetime experience of swimming with bottlenose dolphins and other exotic marine animals such as sharks, barracuda and stingrays. Reservations are required for Discovery Cove.
