The American Adventure – U.S.A. Pavilion – Epcot
Hosted by the audio-animatronic likenesses of Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, the patriotic American Adventure theatrical show takes place in the Colonial-style U.S.A. Pavilion (directly across the lagoon from Future World) at Epcot’s World Showcase.

The state-of-the-art, 1,024-seat theater features a 72-foot-wide screen, audio-animatronic figures, a short film montage and 12 statues that represent the “Spirits of America”: Adventure, Compassion, Discovery, Freedom, Heritage, Independence, Individualism, Innovation, Knowledge, Pioneering, Self-Reliance and Tomorrow.

The American Adventure takes you on a fascinating and informative journey through American history, including the Pilgrims, Boston Tea Party, Revolutionary War, Declaration of Independence, slavery, Civil War, Native Americans, Philadelphia Centennial Exposition, Yosemite National Park, World War I and World War II. Along the way, you will view audio-animatronic figures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Frederick Douglass, Chief Joseph, Andrew Carnegie, Susan B. Anthony, Alexander Graham Bell, Theodore Roosevelt, John Muir, Will Rogers, Franklin D. Roosevelt and others. The show concludes with a lively montage that highlights key events from the last half of the 20th century.

Songs that can be heard during The American Adventure include “New World Bound,” “In the Days of ’76,” “Two Brothers,” “Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” as well as “Golden Dream,” which is played during the concluding montage.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear The Voice of Liberty singing group, which performs a variety of American patriotic songs in the rotunda at the entrance to The American Adventure. The Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps also performs regularly throughout the day at the U.S.A. Pavilion.
