American Idol Attraction Heading to Disney World in 2008
Based on the hit FOX TV series, a new as yet unnamed "American Idol" attraction will open at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort in late 2008.
Select guests (ages 14 and over) who get chosen to participate in Disney's American Idol will be able to experience what it feels like to go through the process of trying to become an American Idol - from the audition process to the chance to perform "live" in front of an audience and panel of judges. Guest performers with the highest votes will compete in an end-of-day Grand Finale show.
The American Idol attraction will be another in a long line of new attractions slated for Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2008 such as Block Party Bash, High School Musical 2: School's Out!, Jedi Training Academy, Playhouse Disney-Live on Stage! and Toy Story Mania!
