2009 Children's Miracle Network Classic at Walt Disney World Resort

407-824-2250 One of the most popular events on the PGA Tour, the Children's Miracle Network Classic (formerly known as the FUNAI Golf Classic), presented by Wal-Mart, has served as an annual tradition since 1971, the same year Walt Disney World® Resort opened its doors. It is the last official money event for the year. For the second time in three years, Stephen Ames won the Children's Miracle Network Classic on Sunday, November 16, 2009.
Past tournament champions at the Disney golf tournament include the likes of Jack Nicklaus (who won the tournament in 1971, 1972 and 1973), Tiger Woods, David Duval, Mark O’Meara, Hal Sutton and Vijay Singh. The Children's Miracle Network Classic, which celebrated its 39th anniversary in 2009, took place at the championship Palm and Magnolia courses at Walt Disney World® Resort.
