Although Walt Disney World® Resort does not sponsor the event, Disney theme parks have been the main gathering spot for the Gay Days celebration since its inception in 1991, although the event has spread to other theme parks and venues throughout Orlando such as Universal Orlando® and SeaWorld® Orlando. 2010 Gay Days will draw approximately more than 125,000 gay and lesbian visitors from around the world. In addition to visits to the theme parks, a variety of special events and parties are scheduled during Gay Days.
