The third-oldest continuously operating Bach festival in the United States celebrates the life and music of the great German baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) through guest lectures and musical performances in the beautiful Knowles Memorial Chapel on the campus of Rollins College. Admission is charged. From I-4 East, take the Fairbanks Avenue Exit (#45) and turn right onto Fairbanks Avenue. Turn right onto Park Avenue and then take a left onto Holt Avenue.
The 73rd-annual Winter Park Bach Festival took place February 15, 2008 through March 9, 2008. For information about the 2009 Winter Park Bach Festival, visit www.bachfestivalflorida.org.
