More than 300,000 people fill the streets of downtown Mount Dora for this extremely popular two-day art festival, which is ranked among the top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. The talents of approximately 285 of the country’s leading artists will be on display in the areas of oils, clay, graphics, photography, watercolor, acrylics, glass, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media and more. The Mount Dora Art Festival also features live entertainment, food and a kid’s art area. Although admission is free, a $1 donation to support the Mount Dora Center for the Arts is requested.
