Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Play It! - Disney-MGM Studios (CLOSED)
Who Wants to Be A Millionaire – Play It!, based on the hit ABC TV game show originally hosted by Regis Philbin, closed its doors at Disney-MGM Studios (Disney's Hollywood Studios) in August 2006. The soundstage that housed Who Wants To Be A Millionaire – Play It!, which made its debut in the spring of 2001, is located along Mickey Avenue, just East of The Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour. The 600-seat theater was a replica of the television show’s arena and the show itself lasted approximately 30 minutes. Contestants competed for such prizes as trading pins, baseball caps, T-shirts, hats, jackets and even a Disney Cruise Line vacation! Three lifelines were provided to each contestant: 50:50, Ask the Audience and Phone a Complete Stranger (the phone booth was located outside the theater).
