Hop aboard a state-of-the-art, intergalactic simulator for a wild ride through outer space on your way to the moon of Endor as a Jedi Knight out to destroy the evil Death Star. This popular thrill ride includes some of your favorite characters from the original Star Wars trilogy such as C3PO and R2D2.
A FASTPASS attraction that lasts approximately 4.5 minutes, Star Tours lies between Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Muppet Vision 3-D in the far Southwestern corner of Disney-MGM Studios. Don’t miss the opportunity to browse for souvenirs at Tatooine Traders, which is located at the Star Tours exit.
Star Tours was one of the original attractions at Disney-MGM Studios (Disney's Hollywood Studios) when the theme park first opened its doors in May 1989. Many special events take place in and around the Star Tours attraction in conjunction with Star Wars Weekends, an annual event held at Disney-MGM Studios during weekends from mid-May to mid-June.
Height Restriction: You must be at least 40 inches tall to experience Star Tours. Also check out the health restrictions posted at the entrance of Star Tours.
