RICH'S TRIVIA: Silver Springs is known as "Florida's Original Theme Park." The glass bottom boat was invented here in 1878. Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) was filmed at both Silver Springs and Wakulla Springs. The TV show, Sea Hunt, which starred Lloyd Bridges, was filmed at Silver Springs between 1958 and 1961.
