1151 Tower Boulevard, Lake Wales, Florida 863-676-1408 A National Historic Landmark, the serene Historic Bok Sanctuary features a 205-foot, Gothic-style carillon tower, as well as a museum, beautiful landscape garden (commissioned by Edward W. Bok and designed by famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted), picnic areas, a café and gift shop. Open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, the Historic Bok Sanctuary is located approximately 55 miles South of Orlando off State Road 60 between the Florida Turnpike and U.S. 27.
Admission to the Historic Bok Sanctuary for 2008 is $10 for adults and $3 for ages 5-12.
HISTORIC BOK SANCTUARY TRIVIA: The Historic Bok Sanctuary was dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge in 1929.
