The 50-acre Brevard Zoo, which first opened in 1994 and is approximately an hour’s drive East of Orlando, boasts nearly 500 animals that represent 130 different species from Florida, Central and South America, Asia and Australia. Highlights of the Brevard Zoo include Paws On – The Animal Study Zone, Animal Encounters Petting Zoo, Wetlands Outpost and Flying Fox Forest. The Serengeti Special Events Pavilion seats up to 300 and is available for private parties, company outings and weddings. Kayak tours and train rides are available.
The Brevard Zoo is open daily from 9:30 AM through 5 PM (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas). Ticket prices for the Brevard Zoo are
