October 26, 2010 Using an interactive multi-media video presentation, LEGOLAND® Florida unveiled detailed plans today mapping out the ten lands of the family theme park and announcing the sale of advance-purchase tickets and annual passes. Opening in October 2011, LEGOLAND Florida will be a 150-acre full-day theme park geared specifically to families with children ages 2 to 12. There will be more than 50 interactive rides, shows and attractions including amazing LEGO® models making it unlike any other theme park in Florida.

For a limited time, LEGOLAND Florida tickets are $65 for adults and $55 for children and seniors. Universal Orlando Resort will feature Eddie Money as part of its ‘Velvet Sessions’ series at Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at 6:30 PM. Money will perform all of his classic hits such as ”Two Tickets to Paradise,” “I Wanna Go Back,” “Think I’m in Love,” “Take Me Home Tonight,” “Shakin’” and more. Velvet Sessions is Hard Rock Hotel’s special rock ‘n’ roll cocktail party and lobby concert held the last Thursday of the month (January through October). In Spring 2011, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will introduce Cheetah Hunt, a Linear Synchronous (LSM) Launch Coaster that “uses the force of repelling magnets to launch riders from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds – not once, but three times.” A state-of-the-art, multiple launch-point coaster, Cheetah Hunt will board in Busch Gardens’ historic monorail station. With 4,429 feet of track (more than three-quarters of a mile), Cheetah Hunt will set a new distance record for roller coasters at Busch Gardens.
